The brief: A modern kitchen with clean lines and in black tones that wouldn't feel dark, that wouldn't block the light from the window, and that had more storage space. Also, no more open air concept with the living room. The challenge: The clients' taste was very eclectic and they were having some difficulty deciding the final design direction. The solution: Finding the common points on the clients' inspiration board and combining both of their styles, proving that a black kitchen doesn't necessarily mean a darker space.

Here are the final mockup designs of the project, which were supported by a list of local companies for the kitchen cabinets, the new flooring and the new glass door to separate the open-air concept.
